This is a really cool picture courtesy of Bruce Thomas from a few weeks back! It's not often you get a view like this. Heck, all of us fans in the stands look like the stars with the lights shining bright! Who will it be in the limelight tomorrow night? I can hardly stand the wait! I know one thing...it will be a good one! (Bruce Thomas photo) (Click to enlarge)

MR. WELDER...DO I PAY EACH WEEK?

I don't want to see any of this crap on saturday night! Haha! Interesting question? Do you pay the welder each week or just when you wad it up? I would really like to know how many drivers pay weekly? What do you think...50% or more? I know the Beer City team rolls the dice on this one! But, that could change, or it has already! KORY FLEMING

This is Kory Fleming's late model that runs weekly at Grandview Speedway. Kory missed part of the season due to a non-racing injury. Kory has since returned and this car is down right beautiful! I love the "SLOW RIDE" on the back. It brings back memories of cars that used to have songs or slogans on them. Good Luck on the remainder of the season Kory! (Bruce Thomas photo) (Click to enlarge)
LINING THEM UP!

Here is a cool pic taken by Fire Marshall Doug last week as they were getting lined up for the make-up feature! Click the pic to enlarge it! You can see us up under the Cowpatty Nation banner! That 15J of Keith Hoffman has been hooked up in recent weeks! Look for K-Dog to be a contender for the remainder of the season!

THE PAUCH'S

Here we have Billy and Billy Jr in a pre-race chat during the last Thunder on the Hill race on July 15th! Pauchy Sr is now wheeling the Glen Hyneman Gold Rush Trailers, Advantage Installations, Touch of Green Landscaping, Lombardo powered 126 machine in select events. Looks like a nice father and son chat to me! (Bruce Thomas photo) (Click to Enlarge)

CVD WINS SECOND OF THE SEASON!

Craig Von Dohren out of Boyertown, PA won his 2nd feature of the season this past saturday night at Grandview Speedway! CVD, is the all-time leading feature winner at Grandview Speedway and Big Diamond Raceway. Craig started 19th and thundered into the lead after a nice battle with Terry Meitzler and sailed to victory! This car is for sale. Craig will be debuting a brand new baby blue BPG Teo-Pro car this week! Joey Adams is doing the lettering, so I am sure it will be a beauty! (Bruce Thomas photo) (Click to enlarge)

JOE ADAMS LETTERING!

Here is a action shot of the "master" at work!! I knew you would like that Joe! Haha! This is Joey Adams numbering up Jeff Strunk's back-up Gagliardo owned 41 prior to saturdays make-up feature. Jeff did struggle a little with the back-up car which seemed to be somewhat underpowered. Jeff did pull off a 12th place finish, which is not too shabby!
KEITH BRIGHTBILL

Here is a shot of Keith Brightbill turning the wrenches on the K2! Always love the pit shots! This pic was provided by Bruce Thomas who has been checking out "CPN" lately. Bruce always seems to find some interesting pit pictures that you really don't get to see if you are in the stands. Thanks alot Bruce, and keep the pix coming!(Bruce Thomas photo)

OUR OWN, "COWPATTY BILLY"

Here we have a few picks of another one of our top row buddies...Billy! Billy is sportin' the "CPN" shirt and the mohawk with the red tips! A perfect match! Yo Bill...that top pick looks like a mugshot! How bout' a little smile for the camera! You will now see Billy hookin' cars saturday nights at "THE HILL" on the back of one of the tow trucks! Love the look Bill!!

IT WILL BE A BEAUTY ON "THE HILL" TONITE!
We have some Pocono tickets to give away. As always we have gift cards for lucky winners.
Modifieds have had only one repeat winner in 11 features run this season. The late models have been putting on some great shows with a very close point battle going on amongst the top five.
Come on out and see some great racing action at Grandview Speedway, Bechtelsville, PA.

But it isn't supporting itself and we have come to the conclusion it is time to give it up. THANKS AGAIN TO MOST OF YOU.Barry and Barby Matthews

Ok, I am a little partial to this picture being a BIG Jason Hamilton fan! Ya gotta enlarge this and check the flames shootin' out the back of the car! This pic is PRICELESS! I love it! Another excellent shot by Brent! Sorry to say the sheet metal on the other side of the car isn't this straight! Hope that "CPN" is ok! I'll bring another along... just in case!

The 30-lap feature for NASCAR 358 Modifieds was postponed after just one lap of racing and four separate caution periods for accidents. With the 28 car field getting into position for a restart after a caution that was caused by a Bill Gensler spin in front of the field, heavy rain caused the balance of the feature to be postponed until Saturday, July 18th at 7:30 p.m

KEVIN HARTNETT WINS AT REDLINE SPEEDWAY!

Kevin Hartnett wins his 1st of the season at Redine Speedway! I think this will be the 1st of many more to come this season for Kevin. Thanks Scott Sitler for the picture of Kevin posing in victory lane sporting the Cowpatty Nation sticker! Thats awesome!
Kevin Hartnett drove the Generation II Construction Kline Motorsports 55 Big Block Modified to victory Friday night at Redline Raceway. Kevin started 5th in his heat race and finished 2nd in one of the five qualifying spots. He started 7th in the feature and quickly made his way into the 3rd spot. He battled the 19 of Brent Boyer for most of the race for the runner up spot. With the 3 of Chris Shupp pulling away it looked like the 55 and 19 would be fighting for the second spot. On lap 22 Kevin pulled under the 19 coming out of turn 2 and into second for the final time, while at the same time the 3x of Shupp slowed and pulled off into the infield giving up the lead. On lap 24 the 24x of Andrews spun bring out the yellow with one to go. On the restart Kevin pulled out to a two car lead and went on to capture his first win of the 2009 season.
BIG DIAMOND RESULTS!

WELCOME RYAN WATT!
Welcome Ryan Watt! Eric ran into Ryan and handed him a "CPN" business card and they had a short chat! Ryan said he has heard of Cowpatty Nation, but was not sure what it was? Hopefully Ryan was able to check out the site! Maybe we can even get a few stickers on one of those hot rods of his? Welcome Ryan and thanks for checking out the site!
