RAIN WASHES OUT RACING AT GRANDVIEW FOR SECOND STRAIGHT SATURDAY, FINAL POINT RACE SET FOR SEPT. 5

BECHTELSVILLE, PA August 29, 2009 . . . With the warm-up sessions partially completed heavy rains hit Grandview Speedway on Saturday night. Promoter Bruce Rogers made every effort to wait out the rain showers but a heavy downpour at 8:30 p.m. forced him cancel the tripleheader show that would have featured the ARDC midgets, NASCAR 358 modifieds and late models. 3 Starz Inc. Landscaping, the sponsor, has rescheduled their night to Saturday, September 19th. Rain checks for the rained out tripleheader can now be used for next Saturday (September 5th) or Saturday, September 19th. All attention will now be centered on the Saturday, September 5th tripleheader sponsored by Green Lane Wm. Penn and Four Star Lettering featuring the NASCAR 358 modifieds, late models and sidewinders ( a first time Saturday night attraction at Grandview). Racing will get the green flag at 7:30 p.m. Admission for adults will be $15.
