RoC COMING TO GRANDVIEW!

RACE OF CHAMPIONS DART DIRT MODIFIED TOUR SCHEDULE TO SEE NINE

RACES AGAIN IN 2010

GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY TO HOST FIRST ROC TOUR EVENTS IN JULY

BINGHAMTON, NY…The 2010 Race of Champions Dart Dirt Modified Tour Schedule will again be comprised of nine events between the states of New York and Pennsylvania. For the first time Grandview Speedway will be the site of a RoC Tour event for both the Modified and Sportsman on Wednesday, July 14th. The 2010 trail will get underway on March 19th and 20th with the third running of the Icebreaker at Selinsgrove Speedway.

Grandview Speedway will host a RoC Modified and Sportsman event for the first time on Wednesday, July 14th. The Modified portion of the show will pit the best weekly drivers against the invaders in a 60 lap event. The event will be part of the blockbuster “Thunder on the Hill Series” that Bob Miller and speedway owner Bruce Rogers co-promote each summer.

With the addition of Grandview Speedway to the tour some of the top southern teams will now have an event at their “home facility”. This will certainly lead to a very level playing field in 2010. The Grandview teams compete weekly on the American Racer tire that the RoC Tour utilizes so the track regulars will be able to compete without changes. Defending Grandview Speedway Champion Jeff Strunk has had success on the RoC Dart Dirt Tour and will be looking to utilize his home track event to vault him in the 2010 standings. Strunk was the 2005 Race of Champions Dirt Southern Region Champion.
