GRANDVIEW RAINED OUT!

Rain and the forecast of more heavy rain throughout the evening hours forced event organizer Bruce Rogers to cancel the planned racing action at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night. A steady rain began to fall just as the warm-up sessions were reaching the halfway mark.
The United Racing Company sprint cars and NASCAR 358 modifieds had been scheduled along with the appearance of Russell Newberry of the Deadliest Catch TV show.
The BPG Racing URC sprint portion of the doubleheader has been rescheduled tentatively for Saturday, August 20^th.
The rainout was the fifth of the season for the Saturday night events.
