A nasty crash which left Meme Desantis' car looking pretty devastated tore down the fence and bent some poles along the front stretch of the speedway. The stands had to be evacuated for racing to continue. In my 37 years of attending Grandview Speedway, I have never witnessed something like this! Glad to say Meme quickly exited his car and seemed to be ok? More pictures to follow...

I remember Glenn Strunk flipping along the fence once, I can't recall whether any damage was caused to the fence though. C.C. Lick comes to mind as well.
I remember CC Lick taking a nasty one also!
