RANDY STOUDT (Fred George photo)

“RANDY STOUDT JOINS LEINBACH MOTORSPORTS”
Randy Stoudt has been named to pilot the “NINE” late models owned by Leinbach Motorsports for the 2012 season. Ronnie Leinbach stated “we were looking for a driver with a proven track record of being a hard charger and winning races.” He also said he preferred a driver with a local background so he is able to visit the shop on a regular basis and maintain a close relationship with the team. The local connection should also help with the difficult task of obtaining sponsors in these difficult economic times. Randy being a former Grandview point champion, a 5 time winner of the Firecracker 40, numerous wins at other tracks, and stints in both modified and super late models made him the perfect candidate.
Many drivers showed interest in filling the open seat of the “NINE” car. Veterans, rookies, former late model and street stock champions as well as some modified and open wheel drivers. Needless to say we were flattered. We thank all and appreciate their interest.
Leinbach Motorsports and Randy Stoudt will be competing at Williams Grove in a 2010 Rocket purchased from Pancho’s Racing Products in Abbottstown, Pa. At shorter tracks, Randy will be piloting the Warrior that Carl Graves piloted successfully in the area for the”NINE” team in 2009 &2010. We are also planning on reviving our Super Late Model program when our ambitious schedule allows. Leinbach Motorsports has been in existence since 1955. We have competed at nearly every track in the area beginning with our first race at Circle M Ranch speedway in 1955 to the final races at Reading and Silver Spring. If they raced cars there we probably raced there. The Leinbach family has a long history in racing and have had the pleasure of having some of the best drivers of all time wear the Leinbach colors. Randy will be joining drivers like Charley Bailey, Russ Delp, Mose Moore, Davey Marburger, Jack Rudy, Glenn and Paul Fitzcharles, Hal Browning, Gary Gollub, Ronnie Dunstan, and Carl Graves to name a few, who have all piloted a Leinbach Mount. Leinbach Motorsports is a true family operation and we are proud to have Randy join us. We are sure that together we can continue the success he has had at Grandview.
