MONSOON TYPE RAINS FORCE CANCELATION OF SATURDAY NIGHT NASCAR STOCK CAR RACING AT GRANDVIEW

BECHTELSVILLE, PA July 28, 2012. . . Monsoon type rains, the type that sent Noah scurrying off to build the ark, forced promoter Bruce Rogers to cancel the Saturday night racing action at Grandview Speedway.
With the first event of the night, a Late Model qualifying race, on the track the dark clouds that carried the threat of rain let loose with enough water to turn the one-third-mile, banked clay track into a huge swimming pool sending more than 100 racers home very early.
