Oley,
PA – AMB Motorsports announces that the #46
NASCAR Dirt Late Model will become G & H Motorsports. AMB Motorsports ran
weekly at Grandview Speedway with Dan Green at the wheel. Amy Marie
Higginbotham-Blackmon, owner of AMB Motorsports, has decided to sell the team to
Scott and Cathy Green, parents of driver Dan Green. The team will still be #46
and Dan Green will continue as the driver. Amy will be around helping her
cousins in any capacity she can and now will be able to spend more time with her
children. Dan finished 11th in points for 2013, his rookie season,
and will be back for his second season at Grandview Speedway in 2014. The name G
& H Motorsports comes from the family names: “Green and Higginbotham”. Bob
Higginbotham is Amy and Cathy’s Uncle and was the 1973 champion at Grandview
Speedway in the Late Model class. Dan has learned a lot from his “Great” Uncle
Bob and the team will maintain and garage the car at Bob and Peg Higginbotham’s.
G & H
Motorsports will have more information out as this transition takes place.
