GILBERTSVILLE, PA
– November
16, 2013.... Dan Green ended the 2013 racing season at the 51st annual Grandview
Speedway Awards Banquet held at the Gilbertsville, PA Fire Company Social Hall.
Dan was
able to bring home the 2013 Grandview Speedway Late Model Rookie of the Year
during a night highlighting the Champions in the three divisions that ran at the
NASCAR sactioned track. Dan also took home the trophy for finishing 11th in
points in the Late Model division. Driving the #46 for Amy Marie
Higginbotham-Blackmon of AMB Motorsports, he was able to have 5 top 10 finishes
for the year.
Dan and the
team would like to congratulate Craig VonDohren (358 Modifieds), Jason Miller
(Late Models) and Jared Umbenhauser (Sportsman) for their Championship.
2014 brings
about a new begining with Dan Green’s parents, Cathy and Scott Green, taking
over the ownership of the team due to Amy deciding to step back from ownership
to do more with her family. The “new” team is G & H Motorsports with the
number staying #46. Plans are already underway to prepare the Lazer Chassis #46
