BECHTELSVILLE,
PA March 7, 2014 . . . The auto racing season at NASCAR sanctioned Grandview
Speedway is quickly approaching.
The annual Free-To-The-Public practice session is set for Saturday, March
29th at noon and will feature competitors from all divisions of
racing testing and tuning their new racing equipment. Fans get a chance to see
what their favorite racers will be driving for the new season at
Grandview.
And then on Saturday, April 5, 7 p.m. the official start of the season,
the battle for the championships, gets the green flag with the NASCAR 358
Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman being featured.
Fans who have taken advantage of the money saving season passes will have
the opportunity to select their reserved seat for the 2014 season on Sunday,
March 16th at 1 p.m. at the track. And those who are looking to
purchase a season pass, $350, can do that also. The season pass covers all
Saturday night racing events starting April 5th and continuing
through September. Included is the Freedom 76 Classic, the Forrest Rogers
Memorial presented by Pioneer Pole Buildings, the Firecracker 40 with a great
fireworks show and the Saturday night appearance of the URC sprints. The Blast
from the Past Vintage Cars also will be part of a number of special Saturday
night events.
A.D. Moyer Lumber, with locations in Gilbertsville and Pottstown, has
signed on as a sponsor of the Saturday, July 12th NASCAR stock car racing
events. The historic company joins a long list of businesses taking advantage of
great marketing opportunities at Grandview Speedway.
