OUTLAW ENDURO SERIES ANNOUNCES RACE DATES FOR 2016 SEASON…By Gary Lileck

Bechtelsville, PA (January 2, 2016) – With the new racing season just around the corner, the Outlaw Enduro Series has recently announced its tentative action packed 2016 schedule. Once again the famed Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville PA will be the venue for the enduro series.

Grandview is a 1/3 mile high banked clay oval that is celebrating their 54^th season of competition in 2016. This will be the fourth year that enduro racing is presented at Grandview under the Outlaw Enduro Series banner. A six race schedule has been announced for this season that will also include the popular Blast From the Past Vintage Stock Cars at each event.

The series plans on kicking 2016 off in early style as the season opener will take place on Saturday afternoon March 19^th with a 12PM starting time. The Big Cars and Small Cars will each compete in 150-lap endurance races and the Ladies and vintage cars are also on the card. The event carries a Sunday March 20^th rain date.

All shows take place in the afternoon and other race dates are as follows: Sunday April 17, Sunday May 1, Sunday July 24, Sunday August 28 and Saturday October 1^st. Each race date will provide an exciting twist including the popular twin races, which generated plenty of interest last season from competitors and fans alike.

The Chargin’ Charlie Eckert Memorial is slated for the season finale on October 1^st. Drivers will be tested in a true 200-lap endurance race. Charlie was a top competitor for many years in the Modified division at Grandview and various other area race tracks. His son, Chuck Eckert, is the Outlaw Enduro Series promoter and a former enduro champion at Grandview in the NEETS Series.
