MINERSVILLE, PA. -- Fans will get more than their monies worth this
Friday night as Savage 61 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram present a
three-division show for just $6 at Big Diamond Speedway.
That’s right, $6 for a night of CJ’s Tire & Automotive 358 Modifieds, U.S.S. Achey Sportsman and the Savage 61 Roadrunners.
Savage

Heading
into Friday’s race, Ryan Godown leads Jeff Strunk by 81points.
Defending 358 modified track champion Billy Pauch, Jr., is third, 118
points out of the lead but he only trails Strunk by 37 points. Ryan Grim
and Duane Howard are fourth and fifth respectively in the point
standings and they are separated by six points.
There has yet to be a repeat winner in the 358 modified division this year.
Tim
Fitzpartick is the new point leader in the sportsman division after
former points leader Brandon Grosso missed last Friday’s race to attend
his prom.
Grosso dropped to third in the standings behind Ray
Woodall, Jr., as the two are separated by 42 points while Fitzpatrick
leads Woodall by 176 points. Wayne Witmer, Chuck Fayash, and Doug
Hendricks, round out the top five in points.
Andy Fayash III
leads the roadrunner division point standings over Kody Sites by 50
point with Terry Kramer, Tim Fitzpatrick, Jr., and T.J. Fitzpatrick,
rounding out the top five in points.
In the No Sweat Service
street stock division, Rich Bossinger took over the points lead from
Eric Tripp following last week’s race. He leads Tripp by 65 points with
Jeremy Becker, Elvin Brennan III and Jasen Geesaman rounding out the top
five.
Fans will want to mark their calendars for Friday, July 1
for the annual B&H Landscaping Georgie Stevenson Memorial. The
30-lap feature for the 358 modifieds pays $4,000 to win and $300 to take
the green flag along with the Mark’s Service Center cash dash. The
sportsman feature pays $1,000 to win. Also on the card on July 1 will be
the roadrunners, 600 modifieds and fireworks.
