Practice Day For The #46 Super Late Model At Selinsgrove Speedway, And Mother Nature Takes the 1st Scheduled Race Weekend!
Selinsgrove, PA – April 7, 2018 – New
season, new home track, new challenge for Dan Green driving the #46
Dirt Super Late Model! Selinsgrove Speedway is where the team will call
home for Saturday nights from April through August. There will be a few
off Saturdays where Selinsgrove will not be running the Super Late
Models and Dan and the team plan on traveling to other local tracks to
run special shows.
On
Saturday March 31, the team made the trip to Selinsgrove Speedway for
their scheduled practice session. Dan went out for two sessions and had
fast time both times which had the team "super" excited for the season
to begin! The car felt real good, the new engine performed great, and the team decided to load up and head home.
Saturday, April 7 was scheduled to be the 1st
points race for 2018 but the weather conditions and cold temperatures
that Mother Nature sent our way caused the cancellation of activities at
most speedways. It's on to next week for the start of the season now. As much as we all want to race we also want fans in the stands and cold temps are not a friend of race engines. Hope to have better conditions next week.

Over
the winter months there were a few changes for the G & H

Winter Happenings with the Team
Our
returning sponsors have enjoyed their involvement with G & H
Motorsports and continue to reap the benefits of being a sponsor of a
local talent. Dan and the team stay active and are available for each
sponsor. We were involved in the annual Motorsports Car and Trade show
put on each year at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa by
Area Auto Racing News as we have for several years. This year Hot Rod
Processing had us showcased on an endcap which gave the team and
sponsors great exposure. It was fun talking to all who stopped by and
picked up free items like the very popular NGK Spark Plug bags and
stickers, thanks Lela Martin for supplying them! We also had the
pleasure of talking to Ryan Maturski and Colin Hayden of RYNO.com. They
are an upstart site selling used motorsports items, Ryan was an owner
of another site that did the same thing, but this site is much more
streamlined and tailored to what you are looking for! Thanks for

Next Event!
Dan will be on the track on Saturday April 14 at Port Royal Speedway for the 1st
of 6 races in the "Moon Shine Camo Route 35 Series" which consists of 3
races at Selinsgrove and 3 races at Port Royal, weather permitting!

Friends at Other Tracks:
Grandview Speedway will be holding the 1st Annual Bruce Rogers Memorial Money Maker 50 next week on Saturday April 14th. We
all knew Bruce and this is a well deserved tribute to a man who loved
and lived the life of Motorsports and Dirt Track Racing. The race is a special 50 lap race for the Modified division. Good luck to our friend Joe "Geezer" Fanelli in his #22! The
46 and 22 teams have helped each other many times over the last few
years and we were happy to recently lend a hand at his 22 shop as he
prepared for the season. The Sportsman will be the other division that night and Nathan Mohr will be competing in his #17M – Good Luck Nathan! (Cathy & Scott Green just had dinner with Nate and he & his family are real excited for the season to start!)
Bryan Bernheisel will be competing at Virginia Motor Speedway in the Ultimate Super Late Model Series. The Aaron's Inc King of the Commonwealth 60 lap feature on April 14th. Good Luck Bryan!
